Make no mistake, the best bacon comes from a sweet pasture:
Fescue, rye, wheat grass, clovers, alfalfa, dandelion, chicory…
…this is a hog’s heaven of greens and goodies.
They also receive a NON-GMO custom grain ration and other supplemental treats like organic apples.
A perfect pasture naturally sustains its fertility. It’s a cycle we appreciate and enhance by moving the pigs every two weeks to fresh ground.
The pigs are good for the land and the land is good for the pigs.
