We focus on holistic, low stress, ethical, humane ranching practices and are an American Grassfed Association certified Grassfed beef producer. We practice the highest levels of ethical and humane animal treatment and ranching approaches anywhere in the marketplace.
Our cattle are raised at the ranch 40 miles east of Denver grazing on the lush green grass of the Kiowa creek bottom, free from any chemicals or herbicides. In the winter they are fed only alfalfa and sorghum/Sudan grass that we planted, tended, swathed and baled ourselves. Our cows are all Black Angus bred to Wagyu bulls. Wagyu is the breed that produces the famous Kobe Beef. Check out the health benefits of our Grassfed beef.
When it’s time to go to slaughter we work with only the best–one of only two Animal Welfare Approved slaughter facilities in Colorado. We sell eighths, quarters, halves and wholes and usually have beef ready in November or December. We provide custom cutting for halves and wholes, and our “standard cut” for eighths and quarters. Our standard cut has developed from years of experience and we’ve never had anything but compliments about our beef cuts and packaging. We provide pick up at our ranch in Strasburg, just 40 minutes east of Denver.
