At Bar H + Angus Ranch, we operate a a cattle breeding program for High Country/Altitude Black Angus Replacement Heifers.
Cattle are born right here on the ranch, grown up in the high mountain country of Pagosa Springs and SW Colorado, near Groundhog Reservoir and graze on beautiful natural grasses of the Colorado mountains.
Their temperaments are key to our program and selected by top breeding bulls and cows.All of our cattle roam free, are gathered on horseback, with wonderful, working dogs to gently guide them in off the mountain.

Most heifers are ready between 9 months to up to 16 months of age.
